About Department :	The Department of Hindi of P. R. High School society’s Arts, Commerce & Science College established in 1971. Prof. J. J. Joshi was first Principal. Hindi Department is started from the very beginning Prof. Jeevan Khivansaru was appointed first Head of Department. We had few students the beginning. Today in the Academic 2012-13 have a maximum student in 1986 Prof. Dr. Shaikh was appointed as H.O.D. since 1986 to up to day has been working as the H.O.D. Some one student passed their graduation examination in first class. Some of our student appeared for M.A. and other course examination. Some of our students got Hindi Scholarship.

Research	Prof. Dr. B.F.Shaikh: Attended National/International Workshop/Seminars during the last 05 years. Seminars and workshops of University level attended last 05 years. Appoint as Guide of M.Phil, and Ph.D. in Hindi subject North Maharashtra University Jalgaon from 2000. Three students have registered their name for Ph.D. under his Guidance. Publication: Articles published in various Newspaper. Translated Hindi poem published magazine. Book published- A book has been written and published the title Samkalin Hindi Kavita Aur Kavi published by Chandralok Prakashan Kanpur. Research Activities: Research activities start on following subject Samkalin Hindi Kavita Main Naari.
Facilities Available	Library: We have library for our students sufficient books are available and Journals of Hindi. As per need we are adding the books in our Library.
