| About Library | It is a universal fact that a well equipped & well arranged library is the foundation of modern education structure & to enhance the interaction between the user & the information. Library is partially computerized & uses library manager software. MISSION 1 Books & information is for use 2 Every user should get desired book & information 3 Each book & information should receive its user 4 Books & information delivery in minimum time 5 Library & information is ever growing HIGHLIGHTS OF THE CENTRAL LIBRARY 1 On-line Public Access Cataloguing (OPAC) system is available in library. 2 Written manual cataloging systems is all time available & open for students & all users. 3 From 1971 the data entry of the books are prepared & available for users. 4 Library Manager Software is installed in the library and the Data entry is in progress. 5 The Reading Room is Open for 10 Hrs. on all Working days for 3 Hrs. on holidays. 6 The Internet facility is available for the staff members and the students. 7 We provide open access for our staff for searching the books. 8 Library has large number of books. But when syllabus changes; library withdraws out the number of books to keep the library update. 9 If the books are lost, library recover the cost of books multiplied to 1.5 times of the original cost, due to this penalty the student and staff member regularly return the books. 10 To maintain smooth and efficient functioning of the library, library committee is set-up every year and according to their suggestions the library functions. 11 Our college has the specialization faculties and departments. for various subjects like Marathi, English, Economics, and Commerce, Chemistry & Physics & other general subject. So we have maintained the sufficient books & reference, periodicals & etc for the research fellow’s students & other visitors. Our library provides them the all facilities of books, Periodicals & Reference etc as when they demand. | Library Facilities | 1 Separate reading room for teachers available with all basic facilities, study section also is arranged systematically in library for both boys & girls students with all basic facilities. 2 Seating capacity of the reading room for staff 100 members, for student 86 capacity. 3 Internet facility for all staff & student. 4 Mineral drinking water for all users. 5 Toilet facility. INTER LIBRARY LONE It has practicing to borrow & lend books with the help of surrounding libraries. This practice is useful in getting out of print or rare books on various subjects, so that such books can be used by needy users. The practice of inter borrowing of books is carried on mainly with the help of five libraries. BOOK BANK FACILITY Some of the students cannot afford to purchase study material/ books. A book bank is established for the benefit of such students. Student from economically weaker section are given such text books etc. free of charge for the regular library facilities. About 3 student used to taken the benefits of this facility in the year of 2013-14 LIBRARY STAFF
